Experimental typography

Visualization of the pronunciation sound of each letter. Input data for all letters are audio records of alphabet pronunciation. Using individual sound components (volume, low frequency, high frequency). I generated numerical values from these components and I connected them on various attributes and effects in the animation program. I chose these effects and modified them to the final graphic form of the individual letters corresponded to my sub- jective visual imagination. At the end of the process, there is a letter that is generated in real time depending on the sound recording. Its visual appearance is directly linked to my graphic feelings and used voice. Then it is possible to create new original shapes by changing different voices.
I created typographic image compositions from the AUDITORY ALPHABET font. The image compositions are a kind of a visual graphic game. Project AUDITORY ALPHABET is presented in the Sketchbook A–Z, visual compositions, on the posters and an entertaining interactive form on on this page.
